FIRST SETUP FILL:
Assemble the bottle with the tips as per the included instructions. Peel off the foil seals from the Squezy bottles. ( Do Not CUT!)
Screw on caps till tight, screw on needles firmly and then begin to slowly fill tanks through the holes on top of the tank on the printer.
TRIPLE CHECK you are filling the correct color especially the BLACKS. There is no way to easily correct the mistake once the ink goes into the tank.

If you wish to use the original tanks, using some force, twist off the original bottle  and empty the bottles and then rinse them clean. Pour the pigment ink into the bottles and replace the caps securely. TRIPLE check you are pouring in the correct ink! Tighten the caps and follow the printer instructions as per normal use.
REFILLING and TOPPING Up:
The ET8550 will benefit from topping up its tanks whenever the level falls below 1/2. It is not mandatory but doing so will create better reliability. The printer over time does not like the tank being run down to low levels. If you will be not using the printer for a period, you should top off the tanks before leaving. Ideally you want to run the printer at least once per week.
CHOICE OF PAPERS:
When possible avoid glossy papers. Low sheen papers are ideal.
When using Matte Type Papers, Velvet Fine Art setting are best but this mode will be slower due to the resolution of the printer. You will obtain superior output using the plain paper setting and choosing the best quality. Avoid using the Presentation Matte or Premium Presentation Matte for matte papers when using pigment ink.
